TOP RATED! The 10K runs adjacent to Cheeseboro Canyon at the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and meanders through the horse community of Old Agoura. DEENA KASTOR 5K

CLASSIC! The Great Race is proud to name its 5K after former Agoura High School standout Deena Kastor, who set the 5K WORLD RECORD at 14:54 in 2002. Deena grew up running in the Great Race. She won the bronze medal in the marathon at the 2004 Olympics and set U.S. records for the 5K, 8K, 10K, 15K, half marathon and marathon, and in 2015 tied the World Masters record in the 5K in 15:48.

KIDS 1 MILE

FUN! For kids ages 6-12, the Kids 1 Mile is one of the largest kids runs in California. It's a celebration of youth fitness! All racers are awarded a medal at the finish! This is a kids-only race. Note to parents: The course is closed to vehicles, safe and supervised. The Family Fun Run/Walk immediately follows the Kids Mile and runs the same course and is fun for all ages!

FUN RUN

The Camp Kinneret Family Fun Run/Walk immediately follows the Kids Mile at approximately 10:45 a.m. and runs the same course. It's fun for all ages! Participants should gather at the Chumash Park playground (near the restrooms) on the west side of Chumash Park at least 15 minutes prior to your starting time. When it's time to start the race, a race official will lead you to the start line on Argos St. However, Argos St. is a live race course, you must remain on the grass in the park prior to the start of the race until you are escorted to the start. This course runs around the neighborhood adjacent to Chumash Park. Spectators should watch the race from Chumash Park, as you can view about half the race there and the runners pass by three times.
