5K Challenge

Register to run or walk a 5K, at your own pace during April, raising awareness and support for efforts to prevent infant abandonment in our country! Each registration includes an event t-shirt mailed to you after you register! (*Note: Even though you register as a fundraiser, fundraising is not required.) The top individual or team that meets or exceeds their goals will receive recognition on our social media platforms and a gift from NSHA after the event! More Details:  1.) Register to run or walk a 5K, at your own pace during April, and set a fundraising goal (in any amount), to raise support for NSHA's mission to end infant abandonment in our country. (*Note: Even though you register as a fundraiser, fundraising is not required.) Each registration includes an event t-shirt mailed to you. 2.) After you register, create a goal tracking/donation page to easily share with others. This can be done via Facebook Fundraiser, QR code, or via link to the event website. (Instructions provided when you register.) 3.) Share NSHA's mission, social media posts, and your goal progress on your platforms throughout Safe Haven awareness month! You can also create a team and run or walk together in your community to get more support! This is a fun way to increase awareness about Safe Haven laws, the National Safe Haven Alliance's mission to end infant abandonment, and the 24/7 confidential Safe Haven hotline for parents in need: 1-888-510-BABY. The individual or team that meets or exceeds their goals will receive recognition from NSHA and a gift after the event! You can also donate towards other run/walk participants' goals.
