Port City 5K Run

This event is a timed 5K running race conducted on a paved surface. Awards are given to top finishers. The race begins at the Frankfort Open Space and travels along the Betsie Valley Trail to the East and South. This is a 5K out and back course so you will traverse the same areas throughout the race. The course is composed of asphalt pavement & a small amount of wood boardwalk. It is quite flat, with two bridges over the Betsie River and two road crossings. As this is an out & back course all runners must stay to the right hand side of the trail throughout the race.

Port City 5K Run - High School Teams

This event is a timed 5K running race conducted on a paved surface. Awards are given to top finishers. Registrations for this event must be completed by the team coach with each runner being separately registered and a group race fee will be applied for the team. The race begins at the Frankfort Open Space and travels along the Betsie Valley Trail to the East and South. This is a 5K out and back course so you will traverse the same areas throughout the race. The course is composed of asphalt pavement & a small amount of wood boardwalk. It is quite flat, with two bridges over the Betsie River and two road crossings. As this is an out & back course all runners must stay to the right hand side of the trail throughout the race.

The walk begins at the Frankfort Open Space and travels along the Betsie Valley Trail to the East and South. This is a 5K out and back course so you will traverse the same areas throughout the race. The course is composed of asphalt pavement & a small amount of wood boardwalk. It is quite flat, with two bridges over the Betsie River and two road crossings. As this is an out & back course all walkers must stay to the right hand side of the trail throughout the walk.
