About the Cause
The REAL LIFE 5K/10K exists to provide a high-quality annual running event while supporting Real Life Community Outreach.
Real Life Community Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving our community with compassion through food assistance, vocational training, and kids camps in low-income neighborhoods.
All proceeds from this event directly support their charitable work.

REAL LIFE 5K - Competitive
The competitive 5k run will begin at 6:30pm and will be chip timed. Please note that you must enter this category in order to be eligible for awards. The awards ceremony will be held at 7:45pm, and athletes must be present to collect their awards. We invite you to enjoy our after party while waiting for the awards ceremony! All finishers will receive a Finishers Medal. Please note that this course includes asphalt, loose sand-like clay, and grass turf terrain. For the safety of all participants, the course will close at 8:15pm (1 hour 40 minutes cutoff time). Awards For 5K Competitive Run Overall M&F Winners + Overall M&F Masters Winners 5 Year Age Groups for first 3 M&F Age group awards will be based on chip time Overall winner awards will be based on gun time No duplication of awards
REAL LIFE 5K - Fun Run/Walk
The Fun Run/Walk starts at 6:35pm, and is not chip-timed. All finishers will receive a Finishers Medal. Please note that Fun Run/Walk participants are not eligible for awards. Please also note this course includes asphalt, loose sand-like clay, and grass turf terrain. For the safety of all participants, the course will close at 8:15pm (1 hour 40 minutes cutoff time).
REAL LIFE 5K - Virtual
Can't join us on the 19th, but still want to earn the medal for the inaugural year of this race? Join us virtually! This 5k may be completed anytime, at any pace. For the virtual option, strollers and dogs are welcome so we invite you to grab some friends and make a day of it. Shipping is available for an additional cost, or packets can be picked up at Packet Pickup. Virtual packets, including tech shirt and finisher's medal, must be picked up in person during one of our packet pick-up times. Packets may be picked up by a friend. No packets will be mailed.
