5K In-person
Register by March 1 to save $10 on your chip-timed, sanctioned registration fee for adults or youths! Starting on March 1, prices will increase to $40. Online registration will be open until 5 p.m. on March 21, 2025. Day-of registrations will occur the morning of March 22, 2025 in our registration area. Richmond Road Runners Club will conduct our official timing. No dogs, please.
Dog Jog In-person
Register for a fun 1-mile walk/jog with your dog! Registration is per dog. All dogs must wear ID tags, be on a leash at all times (no flexi/retractable leashes permitted), socialize well with other dogs, be current on rabies vaccinations, be at least six months of age and not be in heat. Please be kind to your canine companion and maintain a leisurely pace. Register by March 1 to save $10 on your registration fee! Starting on March 1, prices will increase to $40. Online registration will be open until 5 p.m. on March 21, 2025. Day-of registrations will occur the morning of March 22, 2025 in our registration area.
Fun Run for Kids
Registration for a fun short-distanced race for kids ages 4-6 and 7-10. Online registration will be open until 5 p.m. March 21, 2025. Day-of registrations will occur the morning of March 22, 2025 in our registration area and Kids' Fun Zone.
Both Dog Jog and 5K In-person
Register for both events and save $15! The 5K race is for people only. The Dog Jog is a fun 1-mile walk/jog for you and your dog. Register by March 1 to save $20 on your registration fee! Pop, Hop & Rock™ is all about non-stop fun and excitement! In this action-packed class, kids will enjoy high-energy games designed to keep them moving, laughing, and engaged. From challenging activities to plenty of play, we guarantee kids will leave sweaty, red-faced, and energized. Class will be held inside Smoky’s Training Center in Classrooms A and B. Yoga with RVA Yoga Hang (1:30-2:15 p.m.)
RVA Yoga Hang classes are suitable for all levels of yogi. The class will begin with a short meditation and/or breathing exercise, and practice Vinyasa-style yoga, which includes grounding, stretching, balancing and strengthening poses. Each registration includes one drink ticket (21+) to be enjoyed after the class, with 50% of proceeds of the class fees donated to the Richmond SPCA. Please plan to bring your own mat and any props you wish to use. Class will be held inside Smoky’s Training Center in Classroom B. Upon registration, please check your email for a confirmation message. Inside, you'll find a link to our waiver, which must be signed before your participation. Be sure to complete this step to finalize your registration! This class is for ages 13 and up.

Cat and Kitten Foster Class
This educational course is designed to teach individuals how to properly care for cats and kittens in a foster home setting. We will cover topics like neonate care, developmental stages of kittenhood, socialization, feeding, litter box training, basic veterinary needs and the steps to prepare these pets for adoption. Class will be held inside Smoky’s Training Center in Classroom A.
Paint Your Pet
Paint a portrait of your furry friend and support our pets at the same time! $15 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Richmond SPCA. No artistic talent is required as the staff at Crush It On Canvas will guide you step-by-step! Online registrations are required, and seating is limited. Ticket purchase includes an 11×14″ canvas portrait of your pet. Each registration includes one drink ticket to be enjoyed during the class (wine, beer, cocktail or soda), with $15 from each ticket sold donated to the Richmond SPCA. Additional drinks can be purchased during the class. Class will be held inside Smoky’s Training Center in Classroom B. Due to the complexity of this event, we have a limit of ONE pet per painter. All ages are welcome. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
