About this race

Registration Opens March 13th, 2026!

Ride the Keweenaw invites you to explore the incredible natural beauty and recreational trails of the Keweenaw region. Experience the Copper Country’s best trails, from Söké to Copper Harbor and everything in between.

Join us this Memorial Day weekend for three action-packed days of mountain biking!

On Friday, May 22nd, kick things off with a guided ride through the underground Adventure Mine caverns, where you’ll encounter bats and remnants of old copper mine workings. The rugged surface trails here are some of the most challenging in the Copper Country! We'll also be returning to Swedetown for some family-focused group rides.

Saturday, May 23rd, begins with an early ride at the Michigan Tech Trails. There will be something for everyone, so bring the whole family! In the afternoon, we’ll head to Churning Rapids to explore these local backcountry trails.

We’ll also hold a Family Enduro race on Saturday, May 23rd, at the Michigan Tech Trails. This fun and friendly race will feature 2-3 short stages with minimal pedaling between them. It’s designed for families and friends to enjoy together with just the right level of competition. For families with younger riders, we’ll provide extra time to navigate the course without the pressure of faster riders catching up. This event is free for Singletrack Flyers participants. You will receive a coupon code when you sign up for Flyers.

We will also be holding our International Women's Day group ride in Copper Harbor and a women's enduro pre-ride.

Sunday, May 24th, takes us north to Copper Harbor for the season kickoff. The first Lake Superior Gravity Series Enduro of 2025 starts in the morning with 3-stage Sport and 4-stage Expert classes. Space is limited, so be sure to register early! There will also be a Class 1 E-bike category in the RTK Enduro for those looking to amp up the speed.

After our final day of riding, we’ll gather at the Mariner to unveil the 2026 ArtBike posters!

All group rides are free, though donations to your favorite local club are appreciated. The Copper Harbor Enduro costs $55, increasing to $65 after April 30th. The Family Enduro fees are $30-$35 for adults, $15 for ages 13-17, and $10 for those under 13.
