Cycling
One Lap of the XC Race Course
A guided ride through and around Adventure Mine on the Black Diamond XC Course. Unique, rugged, hand-built singletrack featuring an impressive view from the top of Adventure Mountain and lots of mine rock ;) . This ride can split into multiple groups as needed. Don't forget to bring a light for the underground portion of the ride through the historic copper mine.
My First Ride @ Adventure Mine
A guided ride along the less rugged loops of the XC course and other two tracks/ historic wagon roads at the mine. Don't forget to bring a light for the underground portion of the ride through the historic copper mine.
Adventure Mine Bat Ride
Join our local bat expert from MI DNR to learn all about the bats underground at Adventure Mine as you ride through the mine. If all the bat facts don't drive you batty, you will complete a lap around the XC course. Please bring a trail-capable mountain bike and lights for underground.
Swedetown Two Hoots Beginner Ride
Check out our newest 2-mile beginner trail, perfect for new rippers of all ages. For those who want a little more riding, there will be an option to explore a few blue trails afterwards. Snacks will be available after all rides for hungry riders, big and small.
Swedetown Flow Finders
Enjoy some of the smoother, flowier trails at Swedetown. The route will be 7-9 miles of easier singletrack and two-track. Snacks will be available after all rides for hungry riders, big and small.
Swedetown Roots'n'Rocks
For riders wanting a challenge, take a lap of the chunky old-school singletrack Swedetown has to offer. The route will be 5-7 miles and will include black-rated trails. Snacks will be available after all rides for hungry riders, big and small.
Family Enduro @ Michigan Tech
eld at the Michigan Tech Trails, this enduro will feature two to three relatively short stages with minimal pedaling between them. Designed with families in mind, the race will be competitive but not too competitive. Families and friends can ride together as one group for bonus fun. If you have young riders with you, we'll give you extra time to make it down the course so you don't have to worry about faster riders catching you.
Churning Rapids Creekside Cruise
This ride is perfect for those who want to take in the beauty of the Churning Rapids trails at a comfortable pace without having to worry about technical singletrack. The biggest climb is out of the Swedetown Gorge. Start from the Chalet at the fairgrounds.
Churning Rapids Skyway Send
A great option for those looking to keep a steady pace while exploring more of what the trails have to offer. This ride includes a mix of winding singletrack, technical climbs, and exciting descents that require a bit more attention to bike handling. Start from the Chalet at the fairgrounds
Churning Rapids Great Oaks Adventure
Designed for those who love a challenge, this ride tackles the most technical and demanding sections of Churning Rapids in a big loop. The group will keep a brisk pace, with minimal stops—just enough to take in the best viewpoints before diving back into the action. Meet at the Chalet at the fairgrounds.
Michigan Tech Group Rides
All levels group rides at the Michigan Tech Trails. We may split out into multiple groups depending on skill levels. Meet at the main Tech Trails Trailhead.
Copper Harbor International Women's Mountain Biking Day Group Ride
The Copper Harbor International Women's Mountain Biking Day Ride (just a little late). Meet at the community center in beautiful downtown Copper Harbor for a 2-hour all-levels group ride. Led by women, for anyone who identifies as a woman.
Expert Enduro (Copper Harbor)
Experts will tackle four classic in-town stages on Brockway and the Lodge side. Given the 300+ inches of snow, East Bluff will be too wet to race on this early in the year. Prizes will be awarded for the top three male/female contenders overall. Lake Superior Gravity Series points will be awarded for male/female competitors in the following age brackets: 16 and under, 17-39, and 40+. To be scored appropriately for the Lake Superior Gravity Series, your race age is determined by your age on October 4, 2025.

Walking
Adventure Mine Bat Walk
If biking is not your thing or you are resting up for a weekend of great riding in Copper Harbor, take a guided walk with a bat expert from MI DNR and learn about the winged creatures that call Adventure Mine home. A light jacket and closed-toed walking shoes are recommended; helmets and lights will be provided.
Adventure Mine Underground Walk
If bats and bikes aren't your thing, that's okay, too. Take a stroll underground with our local mine expert. Learn about the unique history and geology of the Keweenaw on this underground walk. A light jacket and closed-toed walking shoes are recommended, and helmets and lights will be provided.
Running
Women's Enduro Pre-Ride (Copper Harbor)
Ride with the crew to scope out our Ride the Keweenaw Enduro course! We'll likely break into two groups depending on who we get: one group will focus on finding the fastest race lines, while the other group will gain a more general familiarity with the course.
