Run 191
About this race
Welcome to The Run 191!
“God damn, let’s go!”
With those legendary words, the 369th Infantry Regiment—the Harlem Hellfighters—marched into history.
For 191 days, they endured relentless combat on the front lines of World War I. They never lost a foot of ground. They never had a man captured. Facing both the enemy abroad and fierce prejudice at home, they fought with unmatched courage, resilience, and unity.
By registering for The Run 191, you and your teammates are stepping up to honor that unbreakable spirit.
The Run 191 is a decentralized (honor system), self-paced, team-oriented event with the goal of each team (2 to 5 people of your choice) reaching 191 Miles walked or ran before 30 November 2026.
From 1 October to 30 November, every mile your team logs support the Harlem Hellfighters Association and the Hellfighter Community. By completed registration, you'll get this year's awesome commemorative "Run 191" T-shirt!
The team with the most miles accumulated at the end of 30 November will earn the top prize, which is a $250 check written in your name to a registered 501(c)(3) charity of your choice and custom shirts for each member of your team recognizing YOU as this year's top team.
Logging your miles is easy! On 1 October, each competitor will receive a unique web link on race day where they can upload their activity. The leaderboard is visible to all competitors through the event's web page. Make sure you allow RunSignUp.com to email you or you may miss helpful reminders about the event.
So... Lace up your shoes, rally your team, and get ready to push your limits. The clock starts ticking 1 October...will your team be ready?
