About the Event
The 18th annual Run of Hope Seattle offers a 5K Run, 3K Walk, Kids Dash (for kids 8 and under) and, if you can't make it in person, a Virtual 5K all to raise money and awareness for cancer research at Seattle Children's.
We invite you to join us for a morning of fun, camaraderie and LOTS OF HOPE on
Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Seward Park.

Join fellow runners on September 20, 2026 for the Run of Hope Seattle. It's a fantastic 5K, 3K featuring a flat and fast course in Seattle.
Races Offered
Running
5K Run
We are offering medals for the top finishers in male/female age categories.
Virtual 5K Run/Walk
The Virtual 5K Run allows you to pick your own course and run or walk 3.1 miles at your convenience and then submit your time. This is a great option for those who want to social distance or are out of town on September 20 but still have a goal to shoot for and get a great running shirt! While this category is not eligible for the age group awards, your results will be merged in with the rest of the running field.
Walking
3K Walk
Participants planning to walk the 3K course should register for the walk. Those who register for the walk will not be eligible to win race awards if they participate in the 5k run.
