5K Run

The 3rd Annual Run Tampa "Tinsel Run" 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2nd at Al Lopez Park in Tampa, FL.  This chip timed, pet friendly 5K begins at 8 a.m. and takes participants through a beautiful park offering plenty of shade and a flat (mainly asphalt) course.  The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:30 am.  Parking is free! A Holiday-themed tech race shirt is included with your 5K registration and guaranteed if registered by 11/22/17.  A shirt is not included with the 1 Mile Fun Run Registration. All participants (5K, Virtual 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run) will receive a custom FINISHER MEDAL! New for 2017 is a custom award presented to the overall 1st Place Male & Female finishers! Age group awards will not be presented.  Holiday themed running attire is welcome and encouraged!! Pre-Race Registration: 1 Mile Fun Run = $15; 5K =$30 Pre-Race Packet Pick Up: Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 4-7 p.m. Feet First 3401 W. Bay to Bay Blvd. Tampa, FL Race Day Registration: 1 Mile Fun Run = $20; 5K =$40 Race Day Packet Pick Up: Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 Opens at 6:30 a.m.  Closes at 7:45 a.m. Race Times: 8:00 a.m. - 5K Start; 8:30 a.m. - 1 Mile Fun Run Thank you for understanding that there are NO refunds.  Due to insurance/liability policies, race bibs/numbers CANNOT be transferred, given away or sold.  You may legally transfer your race bib at no charge via your race registration confirmation

Virtual 5K

If you can't join us in person at the Tinsel Run on Dec. 2nd, you can run/walk it “virtually!” Runners/walkers who sign up for the Virtual Run can choose their own start line – whether it’s a treadmill,  neighborhood street, or another race. Virtual participants will run/walk the distance (3.1 miles) and have the option to email their finishing time to the race director on or before December 31, 2017. Emailing finish times is not required. Each participant receives a finisher medal, race bib, and a race t-shirt!   Registration price includes shipping to a mailing address within the continental US!
