The 4th Annual Run Tampa "Tinsel Run" 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 5K: 8:00 am Al Lopez Park, Tampa, FL A chip timed, pet friendly 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes participants through a beautiful park offering plenty of shade and a flat (mainly asphalt) course. The 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 8:10 am and parking is free! A gender specific tech shirt is included with your 5K registration (not included with 1 mile) & guaranteed if registered by 12/10/18. Participants in all events receive a custom FINISHER MEDAL! Awards: Overall 1st place male & female adult finishers! Overall 1st place male & female youth age 12 and under! Age group awards will not be presented. Can you “Spare a Pair”?! In true holiday spirit, we are asking you to bring a pair of new, unworn socks to the race! All socks will be donated to a local charity in hopes of spreading more holiday cheer and providing necessities to those in need! Pre-Race Registration: 5K = $25 until 8/31/18; $30 9/1 – 10/31; $35 11/1 – 12/21 at 6 pm; $40 after 6 pm & on race day 1 Mile: $15 until 12/21 at 6 pm; $20 after 6 pm & on race day Race day registration must be done on-line--we cannot collect funds on-site. Pre-Race Packet Pick Up: Thurs., Dec. 20th 4 to 7 pm Feet First 3401 Bay to Bay Blvd., Tampa Race Day, 12/22/18 Schedule: Bib pick-up: 6:30 am – 7:45 am 8:00 am - 5K 8:10 am - 1 Mile Fun Run Wear your most fun holiday themed running attire! Thank you for understanding there are NO refunds. Due to insurance/liability policies, race bibs/numbers CANNOT be transferred, given away or sold. You may legally transfer your race bib at no charge via your race registration confirmation if done by 12/10/18
Virtual 5K
If you can't join us in person at the Tinsel Run on Dec. 22nd, you can run/walk it “virtually!” Runners/walkers who sign up for the Virtual Run can choose their own start line – whether it’s a treadmill, neighborhood street, or another race. Virtual participants will run/walk the distance (3.1 miles) and have the option to email their finishing time to the race director however, emailing finish times is not required! Each participant receives a finisher medal, race bib, and a race t-shirt! Registration price includes shipping to a mailing address within the continental US!
