Run the Line Half Marathon
About this race
The Run the Line Half Marathon is a unique opportunity to run in one half marathon in Texas and Arkansas on a USATF certified single-loop course. The race starts at W. Broad Street and Texas Blvd in downtown Texarkana, Texas, quickly moves into Arkansas, crosses back into Texas, and finishes in Texarkana, Arkansas. The course includes 10-ft wide asphalt trails that wind through residential neighborhoods on city streets. The finish line is downtown at 3rd and Wood Streets in front of the Hopkins Ice House about 5 blocks from the start.
We are a Road Runner Club of America event member. We have also applied to be a qualifying race again in the 2025 Natural State Running Series. The races and registration are available at www.naturalstateruns.com.
A portion of the course is on the Texas/Arkansas State Line. The 2026 course is USATF certified (AR19015WJT). The race includes chip timing, runners, walkers, and 2-person and 4-person relay teams.

Information about the series is available at www.arkrrca.com. We are also a Road Runner Club of America member. A portion of the course is on the Texas/Arkansas state line. Chip timing plus 2-person and 4-person relay teams and walkers are included. Enjoy our post-race celebration at the finish line with sponsored hamburgers, chicken, veggie burgers, and beverages. Sponsored food and beverages are included for all registered race runners and walkers.
Run the Line 2-Person Relay Team
Here's a unique opportunity to run in one half marathon in two states - Texas and Arkansas - on a USATF certified single-loop course! A portion of the course is on the Texas/Arkansas state line. Chip timing is included. Enjoy our post-race celebration at the finish line with sponsored hamburgers, chicken, veggie burgers, and beverages. Sponsored food and beverages are included for all registered race runners and walkers. 2-Person Relay Teams may be composed of runners and/or walkers. Relay teams, like individual participants, must complete the race by 11:30 a.m. A team name is required. Finish time is captured for each team, not individual team members. Team members transfer a timing chip at the 6.55 mile Relay Exchange site. Each 2-person team member completes 6.55 miles (half the race). Relay team transportation is not available at this time. Relay team members need to arrange for their own transportation.
Run the Line 4-Person Relay Team
Here's a unique opportunity to run in one half marathon in two states - Texas and Arkansas - on a USATF certified single-loop course! A portion of the course is on the Texas/Arkansas state line. Chip timing is included. Enjoy our post-race celebration at the finish line with sponsored hamburgers, chicken, veggie burgers and beverages. Sponsored food and beverages are included for all registered race runners and walkers. 4-Person Relay Teams may be composed of runners and/or walkers. Teams, like individual participants, must complete the race by 11:30 a.m. A team name is required. Finish time is captured for each team, not individual team members. Team members transfer a timing chip at the three Relay Exchange sites. Each 4-person team member completes about 3.28 miles (a quarter of the race). Relay team transportation is not available at this time. Relay team members need to arrange for their own transportation.

Run the Line Half Marathon Walk
Here's a unique opportunity to walk in one half marathon in two states - Texas and Arkansas - on a USATF certified single-loop course! Participants who will run/jog & walk should not register for this event. They register as a "Runner". Walkers who run or jog will be disqualified. Walkers only walk. A portion of the course is on the Texas/Arkansas state line. Chip timing is included. Enjoy our post-race celebration at the finish line with sponsored hamburgers, chicken, veggie burgers, and beverages. Sponsored food and beverages are included for all registered race runners and walkers.
