- Run the Woods 5K/8K: Embrace the trail!
Hit the trails of Paradise Road in Oak Ridge for a thrilling 5K & 8K adventure. Escape the pavement and embrace the tranquility of nature with the "Run the Woods 5K" in Oak Ridge. The course guides participants along Paradise Road, a route known for its wooded trails and peaceful atmosphere. Experience a truly scenic journey, where the sounds of the forest replace city noise. This race is ideal for those who appreciate the beauty of a natural setting and a fresh, shaded path. All skill levels are welcome to run, jog, or walk their way to the finish line.

Bring the kids out for a fun, family-friendly run! The 1-Mile Fun Run is designed for adults and children of all ages and abilities - whether they want to race their friends or simply enjoy an active start to the day. The course is safe, simple, and full of encouragement, making it. A perfect way to experience the excitement of race day.
Every participant will get to cross the finish line just like the 5k & 8K runners - cheers, smiles, and all!

Join fellow runners on November 15, 2026 for the Run the Woods. It's a fantastic 8K, 5K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Oak Ridge.

Run the Woods - 8K
Check-in for all events will begin Promptly at 8 a.m. at Paradise Knoll School, located at 103 Paradise Road, Oak Ridge, NJ. Fun Run will go off promptly at 9:30 a.m. and 5K& 8K at 10:00 a.m. with Awards to follow. All Participants will receive Medals, along with the top 3 finishers in all age groups of the 5K. Overall finishers will also receive a separate award for both Men and Women. Age Groups will be as follows: 10-under 11-14 15-18 19-23 24-30 31-40 41-49 50-60 61-up Food and Ware Vendors will be available on site. Schedule Subject to change.
