5 Mile Road Run
Packet pick-up details: Unless, you live out-of-town, we strongly ask that you pick-up your race number at these times and locations: (please pay attention to exact location and times). Friday, July 12, Fleet Feet at 7301 E. Tanque Verde, 3pm to 6pm Saturday, July 13, Fleet Feet 7607 N. Oracle from 10am to 3pm. Timing: This event will be chip timed event and you must wear your bib on the front of your body. The timing chip is on the back of your bib. Walkers and jogging strollers should start in the back of the pack. Registration will be available at packet pick-up and on race morning. Cash or check only. Road closes at 4:40am, so be sure to leave early enough to make it to the race!
Beat the Heat Summer Training with Fleet Feet + Race Entry!
Let Fleet Feet help you keep running during the heat this summer. Beat the Heat Summer Training includes a 4-8 mile long run Saturday at 6:00am and a track workout Wednesday at 6:00pm. We'll culminate our hard work at Run with the Roosters 5 mile race on July 14. Length: 14 weeks Location: Rotating Locations Questions? email leslie@fleetfeettucson.com Dates: April 13 through July 14 (14 weeks) Price: $135 Program includes: *A detailed, daily training schedule developed by experienced, certified coaches *Coached group training twice per week (Wednesday 6 pm & Saturday 6 am). All routes and workouts planned for you Support for longer runs *Educational seminars & clinics, such as stretching, hydration and nutrition, pre-race preparation, and more *Your race entry fee This is the right training program for you if you: *Are running or run/walking for at least 30 minutes three times a week *Have been pain-free of any injury for four to six months. *Enjoy meeting new people and learning new ways to get the most out of your running experience. *Need a goal and/or group of people to count on to get/keep you motivated. *Please note, due to liability and safety concerns, we can not allow dogs at Fleet Feet Training workouts.
