About this race
The Salt Lake City Track Club & the SLC Crit are thrilled to announce our 7th annual Salt City Mile!
The Salt City Mile will take place on the SLC Crits' closed course - creating such a fun atmosphere for runners!
Schedule:
- 7am Grand Fondo bike race starts
- 7-8:30am: Bib pick-up for the Salt City Mile
- 7:30 5K run
- 8:45am Salt City Mile
- 9:15am-4pm: Crit Racing, live music, beer garden!

- Kids ages 14 & under race for only $5!
- Prize money for OPEN and MASTERS
- Professional timing

Open (Prize Money)
The OPEN Category is for all you speedy runners who would like to compete for prize money. Top 3 female, male, & non-binary finishers in both open & masters (40+) categories will be awarded! Start times are approximate and are subject to change. Advance notice will be given before event day.
Amatuer
The Amatuer category is for competitive & casual runners alike. Want to set a PR, but don't want to compete with the speediest of runners? This category is for you! Start times are approximate and are subject to change. Advance notice will be given before event day.
Family, Youth, Challenged Athlete (amputee/transplant)
Want to run with your family? Does you middle schooler want to run a mile outside of their gym class? Want to set a PR, but don't want to run in the Open nor the Amatuer division? This category is for you! Small children pushed in strollers do not need to sign up. Start times are approximate and are subject to change. Advance notice will be given before event day.
