September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!
Run-Walk-Move your way Register to participate in our month-long challenge and complete 37 miles/hours/reps/laps/vinyasas, or however you’d like to move, in support of childhood cancer.Why 37? Sam’s favorite number was 37 because he claimed it was the forgotten number. It was as if the number had feelings, was underrepresented among the more popular numbers, and needed some attention. Well, the Sam Day Foundation highlights this so-called forgotten number because it’s a little bit like the childhood cancers we focus on - somewhat neglected, and in need of attention and resources. Sam Day 37-Mile Challenge
Walk, run, ride or roll 37 miles in the month of September. Honestly, you can move your body in whatever way you wish, anywhere in the country. The goal is to bring awareness and resources to childhood cancer research. Kids with cancer need us to make some noise and ignite hope. Let’s make it fun and impactful. Your registration fee includes a 37 Mile Challenge tshirt (either dri-ft or tri-blend), sticker, shoelaces, and a conversion chart and calendar. Why 37? Sam’s favorite number was 37 because he claimed it was the “forgotten number”. SDF uses the forgotten number because we want to draw attention to the forgotten cancers, the ones that don’t get as much research attention.
