The 25th Annual SEASIDE SCHOOL™ Half Marathon + 5K returns February 11-14, 2027, culminating with Race Day on Sunday, February 14, 2027, in beautiful Seaside, Florida. More than a race, Race Weekend is a four-day celebration that brings together runners, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters from around the globe. From Taste of the Race, the official kickoff celebration for Race Weekend, and the Community Race Expo to Race Day excitement and post-race celebrations, the weekend delivers the perfect blend of fitness, fun, and community impact.
Proceeds from the annual fundraiser benefit the SEASIDE SCHOOL FOUNDATION™, supporting innovative educational opportunities for students at SEASIDE SCHOOL™ that extend beyond what is typically available in public education.
Founded in 1996, SEASIDE SCHOOL™ is one of Florida's oldest operating public charter schools and includes SEASIDE NEIGHBORHOOD SCHOOL™ in Seaside, Florida, and Seacoast Collegiate High School located at the Northwest Florida State College South Walton Center. Serving more than 600 students in grades 5 through 12, SEASIDE SCHOOL™ consistently ranks among the top public schools in Florida and remains committed to providing exceptional educational experiences that prepare students for success in college, career, and life.

Seaside School Half Marathon
On March 3, 2019, Vera Bradley presents the 17th Annual SEASIDE SCHOOL HALF MARATHON & 5K RUN in Seaside, Florida. This memorable run offers an out-and-back, fast and mostly flat course where you will run past quaint beach towns, rare coastal dune lakes, and some of the most beautiful, sugar-sand beaches in all of the country. All finishers will be awarded a Vera Bradley tote! In addition, half-marathon competitors will receive a custom finisher’s medallion at the finish line, and both race category participants get a moisture-wicking technical shirt. Celebrate at the post-race party and enjoy live music. 13.1M USATF Cert #FL03010DL. The Half Marathon will start at 7:00 a.m. followed by the 5k at 7:25 am. Both races begin at the Seaside Town Center on Scenic Highway 30A. You must be at least 6 years of age to register and compete in the 5K and at least 14 years of age to register and compete in the half marathon. The half marathon course will be promptly reopened to traffic at 10:10 am (3 hours 10 minutes after the start of the race.) Race timing will be until 10:10 am. There will not be any support for runners or walkers along the race course after 10:10 am and participants will be directed to sidewalk. Dogs, vehicles to transport children, baby carriers, bicycles, skates, and skateboards, are strictly prohibited. All proceeds benefit the Seaside School Foundation.
