SMHS Makin' Hay 10K

This scenic and rolling 10K road course will take you on a journey through the heart of Frederick County's dairy production region. The loop course celebrates spring's awakening, taking participants past numerous farms, along Catoctin Creek on a dirt road, and across two, one-lane bridges. NOTE: Due to an emergency bridge closure initiated on 4/11/2017, the course will be changed to an out and back format utilizing the eastern half of the course. The elevation profile remains essentially unchanged. We anticipate being able to use the loop course next year, unless someone hits one of the bridges in 2018 as well. The start/finish and parking are located at Frederick County's Catoctin Creek Nature Center, Middletown, Md.
