Virtual 10K
Don't feel comfortable running a race yet? Run on your own between October 16th and 24th. A sweet Makin' Hay shirt will be yours for registering for the Virtual event! Shirts will be mailed in October to virtual registrants. THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR RECEIVING A SHIRT IS 9/26/2021. AFTER THAT DATE, ENTRANTS WILL NOT RECEIVE A SHIRT. Finisher's glasses will not be mailed to virtual participants and virtual participants are ineligible for performance based awards.
In-Person 5K
The 5K option has half the hills of the 10K, so it's not flat by any stretch of the imagination, but if you want to challenge yourself on a shorter course this is a fantastic option. You'll get the same swag and on-course accommodations as the 10Kers do, along with 5-year age group awards! *Note-The registration deadline for shirts is 9/26. After that date, registrants will NOT receive an event shirt. The 5K course description: Start at Catoctin Creek Park, turn right onto Sumantown Rd. Climb up Sumantown then stay straight onto Paul Rudy Rd. Follow Paul Rudy Rd. to the "T" intersection at the end then reverse course back to the start/finish. There will be a water stop along the route-the exact location is yet to be determined.
