Welcome to the nationally recognized (Runner's World Magazine-twice and Competitor.com), Spook Hill Cider & Wine 4 Mile Run! The footing on this scenic course varies from pavement and gravel to grassy and occasionally uneven cross-country conditions. The orchard, farm, and vineyard portions of the official Spook Hill course are private property and are OFF LIMITS except for those participating in the race on race day. Sorry, no strollers or dogs are permitted. All finishers will receive a commemorative wine glass and a finisher's medal that doubles as a wine bottle stopper. *Our only pre-race early packet pickup event will occur on Wednesday, October 18th between 3 and 6:30 pm at Charm City Run, Frederick. https://www.charmcityrun.com/shop/locations/frederick/ No dogs are permitted and jogging/running strollers are not allowed. Packet pickup closes at 8:20 on race morning - no late starts - no exceptions.
Walking
3 Mile Walk
Our 3-Mile Walk will take you through historic Burkittsville, Boordy's South Mountain Vineyard, the historic Burkittsville Union Cemetery, and across South Mountain Creamery farmland before bringing you back to the Burkittsville Ruritan. Walkers will not be eligible for performance-based awards, though they will receive a wine glass and finisher's medal that doubles as a wine bottle stopper and be eligible for door prizes (must be present to win). Bib pickup closes at 8:20 sharp - no late starts - no exceptions. *Our only pre-race early packet pickup event will occur on Wednesday, October 18th between 3 and 6:30 pm at Charm City Run, Frederick. https://www.charmcityrun.com/shop/locations/frederick/
