DAY-OF REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE ON-SITE BETWEEN 8:00-8:30.
Sign up now for the Annual Strides for Education Hybrid 5K Run/Walk on our FLAT, FAST course through the streets of Morris Plains. Organized by the EFMP, race proceeds benefit all students in the Morris Plains School District. This year's race will still be a hybrid event (in person and virtual), so you can join us on race day (Oct. 25th) in person on the streets of Morris Plains (Start/Finish at Simons Park) OR run at your own location/time on the 25th.

WHY WE RUN: Education Foundation of Morris Plains raises money for Morris Plains School District, which will directly benefit all students in the district. This year, we are funding innovative programs powered by our dynamic administration and staff at both Mountain Way and Borough Schools.
HYBRID: This year's race will be a hybrid event (in person and virtual), so you can join us on race day in person on the streets of Morris Plains OR run at your own location/time on Oct. 26th. Please sign up for as a virtual participant if you will participate remotely.
TEAM CHALLENGE: Choose to register as a team to have fun and raise your organization's profile. The most spirited and the largest teams win a prize, plus social media exposure and exclusive bragging rights until next time!
T-SHIRT PICK UP & TIMING ANKLET: All participants must arrive early on race day to pick up your t-shirt and an environmentally-friendly timing anklet at the NJ Trail Series table. Please return the anklet to the same table after you complete the course.
Day-Of Registration is available on-site between 8:00-8:30.

Strides for Education Virtual 5K Run/Walk
This year, it's virtual! The 5th Annual Strides for Education 5K Run/Walk will still raise money for education and still get people outside and active, but it's now a virtual event. What does that mean? You can run or walk your 5K at any location and at any pace you desire between Friday October 23 and midnight on October 25th, 2020. When you register, you'll automatically be entered for a prize in our raffle; report your time and you'll be entered again; and post a selfie of your 5K for another entry! We are also sharing our recommended NEW, FLAT, FAST course through the streets of Morris Plains. REGISTER BY OCT. 1 TO BE GUARANTEED A RUNNER'S FACE MASK AND BAG. WHY WE RUN/WALK: Education Foundation of Morris Plains raises money for Morris Plains School District, which will directly benefit our all students in the district. This year, we are funding initiatives for Social and Emotional Learning and Global Awareness. TEAMS ENCOURAGED: Run/walk on your own or register as a team to have (socially distanced) fun and raise your organization's profile. Biggest team gets a certificate, social media exposure and exclusive bragging rights until next time! HOW THE RAFFLE WORKS: Three chances to be entered: when you register, when you send in your self-reported time sand when you send a selfie taken during your 5K The raffle will be held on October 30th so make sure to post everything by then to get counted!
