Strides for Education Hybrid 5K Run/Walk

We are pleased to announce we will be holding this year's event in person or virtual! The 6th Annual Strides for Education 5K Run/Walk will still raise money for education and still get people outside and active, but this year will be a hybrid event. What does that mean? Well it means that if you are ready to return to in person please come join us in the streets of Morris Plains on November 14, 2021 at 9am but if you are still unsure about in person events then you can run or walk your 5K at any location and at any pace you desire between Saturday, November 13th and midnight on November 14, 2021.  We are also debuting our NEW, FLAT, FAST course through the streets of Morris Plains.  REGISTER BY NOVEMBER 1st TO BE GUARANTEED A VERY USEFUL STRING BAG. WHY WE RUN/WALK: Education Foundation of Morris Plains raises money for Morris Plains School District, which will directly benefit our all students in the district. This year, we are funding initiatives for Social and Emotional Learning and Global Awareness.  TEAMS ENCOURAGED: Run/walk on your own or register as a team to have fun and raise your organization's profile. Biggest team gets a certificate, social media exposure and exclusive bragging rights until next time!  PACKET PICK-UP:  We will be distributing bags at Borough School on Nov 13th from 4 - 7pm.  If you could please pull into the back on the circle and do NOT exit your vehicle we will get your name and place the bag in your vehicle through the window.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation so that we can maintain social distancing and the safety of all parties involved. Please, everyone remember to follow the CDC guidelines for staying safe from COVID-19 while running individually or as a team!  Everyone be safe and healthy out there!
