About this race
Our 9th Annual 5k/1mile race is BACK at Moraine State Park! Our NEW start/finish line will be at Lakeview Beach on the North Shore and will be run on the bike trail. This fun Wednesday evening race is a fundraiser held to support the Slippery Rock High School/Middle School Cross Country Teams. This event is run by the SR Cross Country Boosters.

1 mile walk/run starts at 6:30 pm - 5k starts at 7:00 pm

Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be given to both male and female runners. No awards will be mailed, please be sure to pick-up awards during the award ceremony at the end of the race. Sign up by May 25th, 2026 to receive a T-shirt. No t-shirts will be mailed, please be sure to pick-up at the registration tent on race day. 5k starts at 7:00 pm
1 MILE KIDS RUN (12 AND UNDER)
Our 1mile race is BACK at Moraine State Park! Our NEW start/finish line will be at Lakeview Beach on the North Shore and will be run on the bike trail. This fun Wednesday evening race is a fundraiser held to support the Slippery Rock High School/Middle School Cross Country Teams. This event is run by the SR Cross Country Boosters. Ribbons will be awarded to all child runners. No ribbons will be mailed, please be sure to pick-up rinbons at the finish line, or at the registration tent at the end of the race.
