SUMMER SOLSTICE 5K / 1 MILE
About this race
Our 9th Annual 5k/1mile race is BACK at Moraine State Park! Our NEW start/finish line will be at Lakeview Beach on the North Shore and will be run on the bike trail. This fun Wednesday evening race is a fundraiser held to support the Slippery Rock High School/Middle School Cross Country Teams. This event is run by the SR Cross Country Boosters.
Sign up by May 25th, 2026, to receive a T-shirt.
1 mile walk/run starts at 6:30 pm - 5k starts at 7:00 pm
Join fellow runners on June 16, 2021 for the SUMMER SOLSTICE 5K / 1 MILE. It's a fantastic 5K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Worth Township.

Virtual 5k
For runners that can not attend the race, option to recieve a t-shirt via USPS for $10.00 shipping & handling fee. Virtual participants who wish to recieve a t-shirt must pay the $20 registration and an additional $10 shipping & handling fee. Note that to be eligible for shipment a valid CONUS USPS address is required, event host will not replace items lost in shipping, and shipments will be initiated at the race director's convenience.
