This year’s event will be happening in-person at Central Park, and will be a 5k distance on the beautiful Riverwalk! The run will begin at 7:00 PM. This event will not be chip timed.

The Big Run - Children ages 12 yr and under

This registration is intended for Children 12 years old & under and who will be running and want to receive a Medal & Bib Only. We will not have Youth Size shirts.

In-Person Fun Run with Virtual 5K Option

IN PERSON FUN RUN EVENT DETAILS The in-person The Big Run fun run/walk will take place on Global Running Day, June 1st at Powder Hollow Brewery and R Dee Winery, Enfield, CT . The course distance is 5K and run/walk begins at 6:00pm. There will be a 300 person cap. All participants can upload results after the run, through June 5 at 11:59 pm ET. Relish This and Batch Ice Cream trucks will be present with yummy treats. The winery and brewery will be open for adult beverages. Altra Running demo products will be available to try-on. Participants can participate in a social media challenge (see below). VIRTUAL PARTICIPANT DETAILS Virtual participants can run their 5K anywhere they wish! Results can be submitted between May 29 and June 5 until 11:59 pm ET. Don't forget to upload your photos on social media (tag @fleetfeetlongmeadow, #runtogether, #contest) to win a prize in our social media prize drawing.

The Big Run 5K

The first 100 registrants will receive a medal and a bib! The 5k will begin at 6:00 PM from Kenney Fort Pub. The 5K will be an out and back on Kenney Fort/Brushy Creek trail.
