Morehouse School of Medicine Community Engagement Day SATURDAY Volunteer
Location: CT Martin Natatorium & Recreation Center (3201 M.L. King Dr., SW, Atlanta, GA 30311) Join us for Morehouse School of Medicine’s 11th Annual Community Engagement Day on SATURDAY, October 4 from 12 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Volunteers will help with registrations, cleanup, breakdown and so much more! All volunteers will be provided with a ticket to enjoy a meal and a dessert from one of our food trucks.
Spreading Love w/ the Bridge of Light Dignity Bus
*Updated Time & Location* Project Time: Sunday, October 5 from 10AM to 12PM. Location: 55 Park Pl NE, Atlanta, GA 30303 at 10 AM. There is minimal free street parking. Additionally, there are two decks nearby on Auburn for about $5-7. Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and leave ALL valuables at home. Do not leave any valuables or suitcases visible in your cars. Project Description: We will be running our shower bus and laundry bus. This involves pulling sizes of new clothing, managing shower list, managing laundry list, washing and drying clothing, passing out dignity kits, creating dignity (hygiene) kits, and making coffee for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Location: In front of Symphony Apartments at 1080 Estes Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30310 Project Description: Join us as we work together to beautify one of the Historic communities along The Race route.
Gardening w/ Everybody Eats Together
Location: 1093 Westview Dr. SW Atlanta, GA 30310 "The Garden Of E.A.T.N.". Project Description: Please come prepared to get your hands dirty as we work together to build a homestead garden.
Neighborhood Clean-up: Castleberry Hill
Location: Atlantucky, 170 Northside Dr, Atlanta 30313 Project Description: Join us as we work together to beautify one of the Historic communities along The Race route.
Supporting Kids w/ Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta
Location: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta @ 680 Murphy Ave SW, Suite 1090, Atlanta, GA 30310 (enter The Met complex off Murphy Avenue SW, across the tracks from the West End MARTA Station) Project Description: Volunteers will be working in community to assemble gift bags for our child mentees (“Littles”) and their adult mentors (“Bigs”) that will later be gifted at our annual fall picnic. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. All necessary materials will be provided for the activity. Light refreshment will be available. ABOUT BBBSMA: Founded in 1960, Big Brothers Big Sister of Metro Atlanta creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Ready to build the biggest possible future, we work with volunteers, parents, families, schools, and communities to defend the potential of young people throughout Metro Atlanta. Location: 3271 Main Street College Park, 30337 Project Description: Activities include preparing garden beds, planting seeds, weeding, mulching, harvesting vegetables, and maintaining farm infrastructure.
Pantry Prep w/ Feeding GA Families
Location: 1669 Park Rd, Fairburn, Ga 30213. GPS: 6000 Rivertown Rd, Fairburn, 30213 (it is at the VFW inside of Duncan Park). Take the road all the way around to the TOP of the hill. Building is on the left. Project Description: Activities include pantry clean-up and prep, organizing items, and packing care kits.
Supporting Women in STEM w/ ATL NSBE Professionals
Location: Inspiredu, 1550 Southland Cir NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 Project Description: Pack bags filled with STEM swag for participants who are participating for a cause!
Prep Care Packages w/ I Will Survive Inc
Location: Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, 504 Fair St. SW, Atlanta GA 30313 Project Description: Pack and prepare care packages for families impacted by breast cancer.
