Thank you for checking out the 6th annual 5k walk/run at The Shepherd's Hand Community Outreach Center on Saturday, May 2nd! This is a family-friendly fundraising event to support our community and its services and operation. You can get involved by walking or running in the race, sponsoring a run/walk spot by making a donation, volunteering your time, and/or sharing this event with those around you. Come join us by caring, daring, and sharing for and with our community in the name of Jesus Christ! Looking forward to seeing you there!

Come join us for the 2nd annual walk/run 5k at The Shepherd's Hand Community Outreach Center on Saturday, May 14th! This is a family-friendly fundraiser event that will take place on the south-east side of Fort Wayne. Participants may sign up to walk/run, sponsor a walking/running spot, and/or volunteer their time. Registration is $20 per racer if you register by April 15th (or $25 after April 15th), but children 8 years old and under may register for free. For the safety of our younger participants, we do ask that minors be accompanied by an adult. All walkers/runners who registered by April 15th will receive a free t-shirt and a commemorating medal. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

5k Volunteer (Set-up; 8-10 a.m.)
Thank you for signing up to volunteer for our annual 5k! We ask that all volunteers arrive 15 minutes prior to their allotted volunteer time slot. Upon arrival you will receive a FREE 5k t-shirt and a short volunteer orientation. PLEASE NOTE that all volunteers who sign up by April 15th will receive a complimentary t-shirt. All other volunteers will receive a free t-shirt while our overstock lasts. Volunteers helping with set-up will post signage around the race route, sweep glass off the sidewalks, set up tents and tables, and help with other preparatory work. For the safety of our younger participants, we do ask that minors be accompanied by an adult. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
5k Volunteer (10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Thank you for signing up to volunteer for our annual 5k! We ask that all volunteers arrive 15 minutes prior to their allotted volunteer time slot. Upon arrival you will receive a FREE 5k t-shirt and a short volunteer orientation. PLEASE NOTE that all volunteers who sign up by April 15th will receive a complimentary t-shirt. All other volunteers will receive a free t-shirt while our overstock lasts. Volunteers helping during the race will be working the timing clocks, passing out medals, run water stations, and doing other necessary tasks. For the safety of our younger participants, we do ask that minors be accompanied by an adult. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
5k Volunteer (Clean-up; 12:15 p.m. - 2 p.m.)
Thank you for signing up to volunteer for our annual 5k! We ask that all volunteers arrive 15 minutes prior to their allotted volunteer time slot. Upon arrival you will receive a FREE 5k t-shirt and a short volunteer orientation. PLEASE NOTE that all volunteers who sign up by April 15th will receive a complimentary t-shirt. All other volunteers will receive a free t-shirt while our overstock lasts. Volunteers helping with clean up will be removing signage from the race route, picking up trash, putting away tents and tables, and doing other necessary tasks. For the safety of our younger participants, we do ask that minors be accompanied by an adult. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
