5k Participant (9-10 a.m., 9 yrs & older)
Come join us for the 3rd annual walk/run 5k at The Shepherd's Hand Community Outreach Center on Saturday, May 13th! This is a family-friendly fundraiser event that will take place on the south-east side of Fort Wayne. Individuals may sign up to walk/run, sponsor a walker/runner, and/or volunteer their time. Registration is $20 per racer if you register by Saturday, March 25th (or $25 after March 25th). Children 8 years old and under may register for free. For the safety of our younger participants, we do ask that all minors be accompanied by an adult at all times. Walkers/runners who registered by March 25th will receive a free t-shirt. All other participants will receive a free t-shirt as long as supplies last. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

5k Volunteer
Thank you for signing up to volunteer for our annual 5k! We will be holding a short volunteer orientation on Friday, May 12th from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. In this session we will pass out complimentary t-shirts, assign volunteer roles, and pack pre-race bags. If you are not able to attend the volunteer orientation on Friday, please let us know ASAP. We will have a secondary short orientation on Saturday, May 13th from 7:30 a.m. - 8 a.m. PLEASE NOTE that all volunteers who sign up by March 25th will receive a complimentary t-shirt. All other volunteers will receive a free t-shirt while supplies lasts. Volunteer roles may include posting signage around the race route, sweeping glass off the sidewalks, setting up tents and tables, timing races, and helping to direct participants. For the safety of our younger volunteers, we do ask that all minors be accompanied by an adult at all times. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
