About this race
The Mahwah Schools Foundation is thrilled to bring you it's Annual 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk and Kids Run. This year’s event promises to be another memorable event, featuring a scenic race route through Mahwah beginning and ending at Mahwah High School. The Thunderbird Run is a day filled with community support for our schools and is an event, not to be missed! Join us for the 5K Run or 2Mi Walk. Bring the whole to visit our vendors at Thunderbird Trail, plus the extremely popular Kids Run on the Mahwah High School track. There's plenty of fun for everyone at one of Mahwah's best community events!

5K Group Training Location: Varies - will be sent to participants prior to the training dates TRULY A BEGINNER’S RUNNING PROGRAM START YOUR JOURNEY TO FITNESS AND EXERCISE WITH THIS FUN & SUPPORTIVE 8 WEEK PROGRAM March 3, 2018 From 7:30am to 8:30am PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO RUN A 5K AND GRADUATE BY RUNNING THE MAHWAH SCHOOLS FOUNDATION THUNDERBIRD RUN ON APRIL 22, 2018 THE 8-WEEK PROGRAM INCLUDES: SATURDAY MORNING WEEKLY COACHED GROUP SESSIONS WEEKLY TRAINING PROGRAM WITH HOMEWORK TO BE COMPLETED ON YOUR OWN IN BETWEEN COACHED SESSIONS TALKS ABOUT MANY EXERCISE RELATED SUBJECTS UNLIMITED EMAIL SUPPORT FROM RRCA AND USATF CERTIFIED COACH **PLEASE NOTE 5K TRAINING FEE INCLUDES THE 5K EVENT REGISTRATION AS WELL, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR THE RACE IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR THE TRAINING**
