Families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts come together to support the La Porte County Family YMCA and the vital programs that strengthen our community.
Every step, stride, and pedal fuels life-changing impact—helping kids discover confidence, families build healthy habits, and neighbors access inclusive, equitable programs that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Thanks to the dedication of our participants, sponsors, and volunteers, Tour de La Porte continues to grow its impact each year. In 2025, the event raised more than $64,000 to support programs that improve health, connection, and opportunity across La Porte County.

2026 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
FRIDAY, AUGUST 21st
Early Packet Pick-Up for ALL events | 4:00PM-6:00PM
SATURDAY, AUGUST 22nd
ALL Running & Walking Events will start on Waverly Road, just outside of the parking lot. All Events will finish by Cummings Lodge.
Walking/Running Events Packet Pick-Up | 5:30AM-6:50AM
Half Marathon Start - 6:45AM
5K Run Start - 6:50AM
5K Walk Start - 6:50AM
Family Fun Run/Walk Start - 7:00AM
SUNDAY, AUGUST 23rd
ALL Cyclists will depart from Cummings Lodge, and return to Cummings Lodge at the conclusion of your ride.
Cycling Packet Pick-Up - 5:30AM-8:30AM
100 & 60 Mile Group Start Time - 6:30AM
40 Mile Group Start Time - 7:30AM
25 & 15 Mile Group Start Time - 8:30AM
5 Mile - No Group Start Time
Join fellow runners on August 23, 2019 for the Tour de La Porte. It's a fantastic 5K, Half-Marathon, 10K featuring a flat and fast course in La Porte.

Trail running
Trail Run - 5K
This is a rugged trail course - with a portion through sand and through the wooded paths located at Soldiers Memorial Park. In some areas the path is 1 person wide with many exposed roots in areas. Runners are encouraged to take caution. This course is NOT suitable for children or strollers.
Walking
Trail Walk - 5K
This is a rugged trail course - with a portion through sand and through the wooded paths located at Soldiers Memorial Park. In some areas the path is 1 person wide with many exposed roots in areas. Runners are encouraged to take caution. This course is NOT suitable for children or strollers.
5K Non-Competitive Walk
Please note strollers & wagons ARE allowed in the 5K Walk.
Running
Half Marathon
Please note a required Half Marathon finish time of 3 hours (a 13.5 minute mile on average) for all participants. No strollers in the Half Marathon Run.
10K Run
No strollers in the 10K Run.
5K Run
Please note strollers are allowed in the 5K Run/Walk. However, runners with strollers are asked to use best judgment and caution to ensure a great experience for all runners.
