Participants get the rare opportunity to run on a real airport runway - a truly one-of-a-kind experience!
Amazing food from our own WayPointeTPA.
Spectators are welcome at no additional cost.
Registration includes a race shirt.
Free parking is available.
This race is limited to the first 2,000 participants. There is no onsite registration.
Registration opens January 15, 2026 at 12:00am
Race Fee: $60
Gates Open @ 6:00AM
Runners Move To Start Line @ 7:20AM
Race Starts Promptly @ 8:00AM

Come and join the fun Saturday, April 2nd - Tampa International Airport's 5K on the Runway welcomes you back to the tarmac! Celebrating 8 years of community, teamwork, and giving back. FREE PARKING: Gates open at 6:00am. FREE parking will be available in designated areas of Hillsborough Community College, located at 4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd., Tampa FL 33614 This is a chip timed event. Results will be posted on Runsignup.com and secondwindtiming.com CERTIFICATES WITH FREE REGISTRATION FOR NEXT YEAR'S RACE are available to the top three women/men in each of the following age divisions. 19-24 | 25-29 | 30-34 | 35-39 | 40-44 | 45-49 | 50-54 55-59 | 60-64 | 65-69 | 70-74 | 75-79 | 80+ AWARDS - Trophies will be presented to: * Overall top three men * Overall top three women * Overall wheelchair participant * Youth division 9 & under (top three girls, top three boys) * Youth division 10-13 (top three girls, top three boys) * Youth division 14-18 (top three girls, top three boys)
