The timing chip is affixed to the back of your bib number. Kindly remember to bring your bib number on the day of the race, as the absence of the bib will lead to an unrecorded time. Pets at the Race:  If you choose to bring your pet, please be sure to follow Piedmont City rules.  All pets must be on a leash.  Please clean up after your pet.  The actions of the pet are the responsibility of the pet owner/caretaker.

Strollers at the Race:  The course is run on city streets and along Ladiga trail which makes for a good stroller experience.  If you are participating with a stroller or young children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times and that you start from the back of the starting line.  This will allow your family members and our other participants a safer race experience.

Registration Transfer and Cancellation Policy:  This event will occur rain or shine.  Transferring your registration fees to another runner is not allowed.  We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. Cancellation notice will be posted on Venecia's Foundation Facebook page as well as through email notifications. Crap Run 5k - Athena/Clydesdale

This unique category gives the big, bold runners a fair shot at the prize. It's like a secret club where they race against everyone but only compete with fellow giants. Just like age and gender groups, weight classes give us a chance to size up our performance against peers. It's a fun twist where you get to pick if you want to compete with folks your age or those with a similar weight class. Some runners strategically choose where they think they'll shine the most. Go big or go home, right? >Athena (women’s) division is for runners starting at 165 lbs and over. >Clydesdale (men’s) division is for runners starting at 220 lbs and over. >No pre-race weigh in is required – we are relying on the honor system. >This race will use bib chip timing to record all runner times and determine race winners. >Awards are given to Top 3 male and Top 3 female finishers. >To receive a race T-shirt, registration must be completed by 8 p.m. on September 20, 2026. >Pre-Registration for race will close Friday, October 2nd at 2 p.m. >Pre-Race Packet Pickup is on the Friday, October 2nd between 4-8 p.m. >Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup will open at 1 p.m. >The race will proceed regardless of the weather conditions.
