Running
Vermont Sun 5K (Single) 5/10
The 5k (3.1-mile), out-and-back course is flat and fast following a counter clockwise pattern. Athletes will head south out of transition and continue to run along Rte 53. The entire run course is pavement. The finish line chute is located at Branbury State Park.
Vermont Sun 10K (Single) 5/10
The 10k (6.2-mile), out-and-back course is flat and fast following a counter clockwise pattern. Athletes will head south out of transition and continue to run along Rte 53. Aid stations will be located every mile on the run. With the exception of the first and last half mile, the entire run course consist of pavement. The finish line chute is located at Branbury State Park.
Vermont Sun Half Marathon (Single) 5/10
The Half-Marathon, out-and-back course is flat and fast following a counter clockwise pattern. The course is very shady and scenic with lots of trees providing cover from the hot sun or inclement weather conditions. The road is lightly traveled but please stay as far to the left (facing traffic) as possible as we will have runners on both sides of the road. Aid stations will be located every mile on the run. With the exception of the first and last half mile, the entire run course consist of pavement. The finish line chute is located at Branbury State Park.
