Walk for Talk
About this race
Walk for Talk is Dysphonia International’s annual event to raise awareness and support research for spasmodic dysphonia and related voice conditions. It brings together individuals living with voice disorders, family members, friends, co-workers, support groups, healthcare professionals, community supporters, and even pets.
With in-person events and virtual participation options, everyone can take part in a way that works for them. No matter where you live, you can join the Walk for Talk community and help others better understand the daily challenges of living with a voice disorder.
Every donation will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling its impact. Every step gets us closer to a cure!

Larry Kolasa Memorial Virtual 5K
Challenge yourself to a 5K event in honor of our Founding President, Larry Kolasa! Larry ran many marathons, including one that raised funds for research. You pick when you want to run the 5K and whether you want to run it all at once or split it into a few days. On a treadmill or on a trail, it's your pick!
