No Limits for Livie Hosted by UpperEdge (Boston, MA)
The live event may be over, but our work isn’t done. On Tuesday, July 29th, UpperEdge proudly joined the 8,000 Steps for 8p Heroes Walk to support families affected by rare chromosome 8p disorders. The event brought together colleagues, families, and friends for a powerful afternoon of unity, awareness, and action in downtown Boston. We walked in honor of our very own 8p hero, Olivia, and the approximately 500 children around the world living with this rare condition. The 8,000 Steps for 8p Heroes campaign supports the Project 8p Foundation, a nonprofit accelerating research and improving the lives of those affected by 8p neurodevelopmental disorders. While the event has ended, the need for support has not. You can still make an impact by contributing through the donation link on this page. Every gift helps move us closer to a future with better treatments, more research, and greater hope for children like Olivia. Event Details (Past): Date: Tuesday, July 29th Time: 12:45 PM Meet | 1:00 PM Walk Start Route: From Rowes Wharf to Pier 6 in Charlestown Post-Walk Celebration: Pier 6 Thank you to everyone who showed up and stepped up. 8,000 Steps in the City (NYC)
The live event may be over, but our work isn’t done. On Sunday, August 11th, Team Karina proudly joined the 8,000 Steps for 8p Heroes Walk to support families affected by rare chromosome 8p disorders. We walked in honor of our very own 8p hero, Karina — a courageous 8p hero — and we invite you to walk alongside Team Karina in honor of every hero around the world living with this rare condition. Every gift helps move us closer to a future with better treatments, more research, and greater hope for children like Karina. Together, we’ll support Project 8p’s mission to empower a unified community for chromosome 8p heroes for a meaningful life today while accelerating treatments for tomorrow.
