More than just a race, the JOURNEYS 5k is a family fun event that benefits people facing homelessness and housing insecurity in the north and northwest suburbs of Cook County.
Dogs are welcomed as long as they are on a leash!
NOTE: Registrations after 06/01/26 are not guaranteed a shirt.
Join fellow runners on March 15, 2021 for the JOURNEYS Run/Walk. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Palatine.

VIRTUAL 5K Run (Donation)
The Superhero 5K run/walk can be completed in your own neighborhood, on your favorite running trail, at the park, or even on the treadmill. Use a running/walking tracking app via smartphone or a smartwatch to track your progress while on your run/walk. Some popular phone apps are Runkeeper, Map My Run, and Strava. Post your achievement here to JOURNEYS SuperHero Facebook group Tag your photos on Instagram and Facebook with #JourneysSuperhero5k.
VIRTUAL 5K Run/Walk (Swag Included)
The VIRTUAL Superhero 5K run/walk can be completed in your own neighborhood, on your favorite running trail, at the park, or even on the treadmill. Use a running/walking tracking app via smartphone or a smartwatch to track your progress while on your run/walk between June 19th - June 30th. Some popular phone apps are Runkeeper, Map My Run, and Strava. Post your achievement here and to the JOURNEYS SuperHero Facebook group Tag your photos on Instagram and Facebook with #JourneysSuperhero5k. Swag will be mailed to your location post-event. 5k must be completed at one time.
