About the Event
The eighth annual 5K and inaugural 10k is being presented by Leading Edge to benefit Take Heart. Take Heart will use the funds raised by this event to create opportunities for orphans and widows in Kenya to overcome poverty through education and entrepreneurship.
Join fellow runners on September 12, 2026 for the Leading Edge Take Heart 10K/5K. It's a fantastic 5K, 10K, 15K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Lakeland.

LETH 10K + 5K Challenge

The 5K/10K Challenge is for those who want to conquer both races—10K first, then 5K—proving you've got the endurance and determination to go the extra miles.
Kids Run
We will have a kids run ages 3 to 10 that will only go around lake mirror! Kids will receive a shirt, bib and a medal for participation!
