10 Mile Trail Run
The course start/finish is in the day-use area and enters the woods at the Basswood Trail before descending to the Spur trail and downward to the prairie on the Bison Trail. The course climbs up above the prairie using a former farm road and continues on wide forested trails to complete 5 miles. The 5-milers finish at the start line after completing one loop. The 10-milers run through the start/finish line to start their second lap. Runners pass the water station twice on each lap of the course. The 5 and 10 mile races are open to runners 14 and up. The top overall M/F finishers in each race will receive awards, as will the top M/F participants in the following age groups: 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Think you have a good sense of pace? For the 10 milers, we will present a Consistency Award for the runner with the most even pace throughout the race. Do the "1 Mile Race to the Top" event as a warm up for the 5 or 10 mile race for a reduced fee of $5.

1 Mile Race to the Top
1 Mile Race to the Top: the race begins near the kiosk on the Spur Trail (near the intersection of HWY H & HWY 69) and heads north, up the hill, through the woods and to the picnic area to finish. Prize for top M/F finishers. Do the "1 Mile Race to the Top" event as a warm up for the 5 or 10 mile race for a reduced fee of $5.
5k Trail Run
The 5k is a new event this year. It starts and ends in the same location as the 5 and 10 mile routes. The park trails aren't flat and neither is this route! This will be a fun challenge for any age group.
