The half marathon will start in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina and span New Hanover County finishing downtown Wilmington on the Cape Fear River.

Marathon

The marathon will start in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina and span New Hanover County finishing downtown Wilmington on the Cape Fear River. The Marathon will cross 6 bridges of Wilmington with view of the ocean, intracoastal waterway, downtown Wilmington, the Cape Fear River and Greenfield Park.

Duo Runners - Runner Pushing a Person with Permanent Disability 13.1

Duo Runners: Are identified as a runner or walker pushing a person with permanent disabilities in a customized racing wheelchair. Awards will be given to the top three males/females in the Duo Runner division. For simplicity the abled bodied athlete will be scored in the abled bodied race. The rider will be recognized for awards and results based on the riders gender. This allows the pusher to be eligible for the general awards in the open event. And the rider to be awarded based on his or her age/gender.
