Patuxent River Triathlon (Ages 6-17)
USA Triathlon (USAT) INFORMATION: All children must be a USAT member or purchase a one-day membership for $10. All children must abide by all USAT rules. Race age is determined by the age you are as of 12/31/2024. AGES AND DISTANCES: *Note that race age is determined as of December 31st of the current year. *No floatation devices or training wheels are permitted for this race. Tri-It-Out Ages 6, 7, 8, and 9 (25M/Yd Swim, 1.0 mi bike, 0.25 mi run) Super Sprint Ages 10, 11, 12, and 13 (100 M swim, 2.5 mi bike, 1.0 mi run) Half Sprint Ages 14, 15, 16, and 17 (300M swim, 6.4 mi bike, 1.5 mi run) Family Discount: If you are registering more than one participant, you will receive $5 off additional children. Tiny Tri participants are not included in this offer.
Tiny Tri (Ages 3-5)
A special tri for ages 3-5. Floatation devices and training wheels are permitted for this event. Race age is determined by the age you are as of 12/31/2024. 12.5M/Yd swim; 75 yds bike; 50 yd run. USA Triathlon (USAT) INFORMATION: All children must be a USAT member or purchase a one-day membership for $10. All children must abide by all USAT rules. Race age is determined by the age you are as of 12/31/2024. Family Discount: Due to the low cost of this event, the family discount does not apply to Tiny Tri.
Tri-It-Out (Ages 5-7 Non-Competitive)
This event is not eligible for awards and is intended for 5 year old who can complete the distance and 6/7 year olds that can not swim with confidence and require a floatation device. If your participant is 6/7 and would like to compete, please select the main “Patuxent River Triathlon Event”.
