About this race
Our Steps for Hope, Strides for Mental Health event in partnership with Bates College takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, on the Bates campus. The event features a 5K Walk/Run and Kids Obstacle Course. All funds raised through this event will support the expansion of behavioral (mental) health programs at St. Mary’s. Every participant, donor and sponsor grow access to services for people across Maine who require hospitalization because of serious mental illness.
Join fellow runners on October 16, 2022 for the St. Mary's Steps for Hope 5K Run/Walk and Kids Obstacle Course. It's a fantastic 5K, 2.9K featuring a flat and fast course in Lewiston.
Pick your distance
Running
5k
5K runners and walkers are invited to warm up and stretch with a St. Mary's Orthopedics trainer. The 5K will start promptly at 8:30 am.
Walking
Harvest Walk
There is no fee to participate in our Harvest Walk however we will gladly accept donations on October 16 at the registration table.
