We invite all loss families and supporters to join us for the Sixth Annual Empty Stroller Run & Walk, a powerful event that raises awareness of baby and child loss while providing essential support to grieving families.

Registration is required for all participants. Children 14 & under are free (automatically waived at checkout)
All funds raised through registration, donations, and swag sales go directly to supporting families who have lost a baby at any stage of pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood.

🖤 Why the "Empty Stroller"?
Many participants run or walk with empty strollers to symbolize the heartbreaking absence of a child. It’s a powerful visual reminder of the babies we are honoring, but it’s not required to participate.

Virtual - Empty Stroller Walk
Join us from anywhere in the world for the Virtual Empty Stroller Run & Walk, taking place between October 12–15, 2025. Whether you choose to walk or run a 5K, 10K, or 1-mile route, you’ll be part of a global community honoring babies gone too soon and supporting families after pregnancy, infant, and early childhood loss. Participants are encouraged to wear their event shirts, walk with signs or empty strollers, and share their photos and stories using our event hashtag #EmptyStrollerRunandWalk to raise awareness and connect with others. Every registration, donation, and swag purchase directly helps families through the Adalyn Rose Foundation’s programs, including hospital support, burial and cremation assistance, personalized care packages, and ongoing grief support.

Reading, PA - Empty Stroller 5K Chip Timed Run (10:00 AM)
Join us in honoring loss families and their babies at our seventh annual Empty Stroller Run & Walk at our Reading, PA location. This year, registration for our race participants will open at 8:30 AM, and our 5K 10:00 AM, followed by our Empty Stroller Remembrance Walk at 11:00 AM. Race participants are invited to join the walk following their run at no additional cost. Be sure to stay for our post-run/walk event, featuring live music, food trucks, giveaways, and plenty of fun. AWARDS: 1st place overall for the Men's and Women's divisions in the 5K. Age-group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 10-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. An additional Adalyn Rose award will be given to the overall first-place finisher of the 5K who completes the race with a stroller. The 5K will be chip-timed through 2L Race Services. All registration fees, swag sales, and donations will be used to assist families who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood. The Adalyn Rose Foundation helps families immediately in the hospital and all the moments that follow. We assist with burial and cremation costs, send customized care packages, and host events, couples workshops, and support groups for bereaved families. Many of us will be running/walking with empty strollers to honor babies and spread awareness of pregnancy and infant loss. However, it is not a requirement of this event. Children 14 and under participate free Optional youth/toddler shirts are available for purchase at checkout!
Walking
Reading, PA - Empty Stroller Walk (11:00 AM)
Join us in honoring loss families and their babies at our Seventh Annual Empty Stroller Run & Walk in Reading, PA. Our Remembrance Walk will follow the chip timed 5K race. Participants may choose to walk either 1 mile or a full 5K. All 5K runners are invited to join the walk after their race at no additional cost. Stay after your run or walk for a post-event celebration featuring: 🎶 Music 🍔 Food trucks 🎁 Giveaways 🎉 And so much more! All registration fees, swag sales, and donations directly support families who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood.
