Virtual Empty Stroller 5K
Join us in honoring loss families and their babies, VIRTUALLY from wherever you are, on any day during October! All registration fees, swag sales, and donations will be used to assist families who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, or during infancy. The Adalyn Rose Foundation assists families with burial and cremation costs, sends customized care packages, and hosts events and support groups for bereaved families. Many of us will be running/walking with empty strollers to honor babies and spread awareness of pregnancy and infant loss. However, it is not a requirement of this event. We encourage virtual participants to create a team, and invite friends and family members to join! Children 14 and under are free, and their shirts can be purchased at check out. When choosing your run date, you may want to consider some of these special dates October 1st - The first day of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month October 9th - Our in-person ES5K event October 15th - International Wave of Light October 31st - Final day to participate Please share your participation on our social media pages. Use the hashtag #ARFemptystroller5k and tag @adalynrosefoundation so we can cheer you on!
