Virtual Empty Stroller 5K
Join us in honoring loss families and their babies, VIRTUALLY from wherever you are, on any day during the month of October! All registration fees, t-shirt sales and donations will be used to assist families who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or in the first few months of life. The Adalyn Rose Foundation assists families with burial and cremation costs, sends customized care packages and hosts events and support groups for bereaved families. Many of us will be running/walking with empty strollers to honor babies and spread awareness of pregnancy and infant loss. However, it is not a requirement of this event. Please feel free to create a team, and invite friends and family members to join! Children 18 and under are free, and their shirts can be purchased at check out for $15 each When choosing your run date, you may want to consider some of these special dates October 1st - The first day of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month October 15th - International Wave of Light October 17th - Our in person ES5K event October 31st - Final day to participate Please share your participation on our social media pages. In Person Empty Stroller 5K
Join us in person at the FirstEnergy Stadium to help honor bereaved families and their babies Doors open at 9am! Check in will be from 9-9:45 and we will begin the 5K at approximately 10:00am. There will be raffles, fun activities, and food and drinks available for purchase. All registration fees, t-shirt sales and donations will be used to assist families who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or in the first few months of life.
