10K Trail Run
10K Trail Run at CSUCI at 8am **PLEASE NOTE: Rain does not cancel, but may alter the course to not be on trails, for safety considerations. Please choose the "Hero run" 15K option if you want to do BOTH the 10K at 8am and then the 5K race at 9:30am. All finishers will receive an Inaugural Race Medal. T-shirts and tech-shirts are available at additional cost during check-out. Only limited supplies will be available on race day if not pre-purchased.
5K Run/Walk
Competitive Runners will begin at the start of the race. Walkers are encouraged to sign up and must be able to finish the course in 1 hour. Sturdy strollers OK. All children on course must be supervised by an adult. Children under age 8 can be checked in/out of the supervised Kids Zone area while their parents are in the event. All finishers will receive an Inaugural Race Medal. T-shirts and tech-shirts are available at additional cost during check-out. Only limited supplies will be available on race day if not pre-purchased.
15K "Hero Run" - Both 10K+5K
NOTE: Only sign up for this option if you want to do BOTH races - the 10K Trail RUN at 8am, then 5K Run/Walk at 9:30am. Runners registering for this option should be able to complete the 10K Trail Run in under 75 minutes to have time to change bibs. All races start and end in the South Quad grass area at CSUCI. All Hero finishers will receive a specialized Hero ribbon for their medal. T-shirts and tech-shirts are available at additional cost during check-out. Only limited supplies will be available on race day if not pre-purchased.
Fun K
Children, kids/adults on the Autism Spectrum and their families will have fun on this short course around the South Quad grass area (0.3 mile) This race will have 3 waves of start times by age: Wave 1: Kids under age 8 Wave 2: Kids age 8-14, and Wave 3: Ages 14 and up
Volunteer Signup
Volunteers are at the heart of the Aut2Run event to keep it fun and help everything run smoothly. We need help with tasks such as packet pickup, route guidance, water stops, finish line timing, KidZone supervision, and one of the most important tasks of all - trash cleanup. We need to return the campus as we found it, so we will be invited back next year! All volunteers must report to registration no later than 6:30am, unless otherwise directed. Trash cleanup should report to registration no later than 11am. All volunteers should plan on helping for at least four hours, and will receive a special event t-shirt and a participation certificate at the close of their shift. Volunteers will be contacted via email one week prior by the Aut2Run Race Committee as to assignments and general directions. Thank you for your help, and please tell your friends to sign up!!
