2017 - Bacon Hill Bonanza 5K/10K Road Race, 1-Mile Kids Fun Run AND Virtual 5k/10k/1 Mile Run or Walk

5k Run
An out and back race (run or walk) on Stonebridge Road, which will be closed to traffic. It is all paved, and mostly flat except for the dip down to where the "Old Stone Bridge" used to be.
10k Run
The 10k runners begin with the 5K runners at the Bacon Hill Church heading north on Stonebridge Road, then TURN RIGHT (east) onto Ballard Lane (dirt road), then left (north) onto West River Road. There is an out and back on Peck Lane - a dirt lane up a hill through a working dairy farm with a beautiful view at top. Then continue north on West River Road, turn right onto Harris Lane, a dirt road loop by the Hudson River. At the end of this road, you have survived the most challenging hill, (but there is one more coming). Continue across Callahan Road, left onto Stonebridge ending back at the church. (The ONLY road closed to traffic is Stonebridge Road.) When you finish this race, give yourself a high five! It's somewhat challenging but very do-able! We welcome all USATF runners who are entering this race as part of the Grand Prix Series!! Very glad to have you join us!
