About this race
Halloween WILL be in the air, and we will be celebrating the 16th running of the Ghost 5k running events!
We invite you to join in the fun of Halloween with our 5k and Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run,
Join us Saturday, Oct. 25 at 4 PM from Dynasty Brewing Company, Ashburn VA (21140 Ashburn Crossing Dr. Ashburn, VA) for course Halloween spookiness, costume contest, and more! Our Kids' Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run will start at 3 PM before the 5k race.
This experience will center on the “spooktacular” theme of Halloween and incorporate a costume contest, long sleeve tech shirts, and glow in the dark medal presented at the finish line!
Runners are encouraged to run in costume and be a part of our costume contest!
All participants will receive Halloween candy, commemorative long sleeve tech t-shirt, a glow in the dark finishers' medal presented at the finish line!
Join fellow runners on October 24, 2020 for the Ghost 5k & Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run. It's a fantastic 5K, 10K, 1.6K, 15K featuring a flat and fast course in Ashburn.

Not 2 Spooky 4 ME Challenge (5k + 10k virtual)
Join in the fun of Halloween with our virtual challenge! 2 Spooky 4 ME gives you the opportunity to run both the 5k and 10k over the Halloween weekend. Make it more fun and run in costume for BOTH runs! Choose to run in one costume for both runs or switch it and debut two! Social Media Categories: best individual, best couple, best family, best stroller, or best dog/human pair, best house! Post your pics to our Instagram or Facebook pages with #GhostCertified for a chance to claim bragging rights or our social media version of our costume contest! All virtual challenge participants will be shipped Halloween candy, commemorative event glow in the dark t-shirt, as well as a finishers' medal.
