About this race
Halloween WILL be in the air, and we will be celebrating the 16th running of the Ghost 5k running events!
We invite you to join in the fun of Halloween with our 5k and Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run,
Join us Saturday, Oct. 25 at 4 PM from Dynasty Brewing Company, Ashburn VA (21140 Ashburn Crossing Dr. Ashburn, VA) for course Halloween spookiness, costume contest, and more! Our Kids' Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run will start at 3 PM before the 5k race.
This experience will center on the “spooktacular” theme of Halloween and incorporate a costume contest, long sleeve tech shirts, and glow in the dark medal presented at the finish line!
Runners are encouraged to run in costume and be a part of our costume contest!
All participants will receive Halloween candy, commemorative long sleeve tech t-shirt, a glow in the dark finishers' medal presented at the finish line!

Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run
Join in the fun of Halloween and join us for our in-person Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run. This distance is recommend for little ghost ages 8 and under. Kids are encouraged to run in costume to make it more fun, and be a part of our costume contest! All Scarecrow Sprint participants will receive a goodie bag of Halloween candy, commemorative long sleeve tech glow in the dark t-shirt, as well as a finishers' medal at the finish line.
Virtual 5k
Join in the Halloween fun...virtually! Choose to run with us race day or anytime race weekend. Use our state of the art technology app Race Joy for virtual mile markers, spooky music, and overall encouragement when you run with your phone! All virtual participants will receive our glow-n-the-dark medal and long sleeve shirt shipped to the address provided at the time of registration. NOTE: Participants registered before October 23, swag ships out the week of Oct. 24. Participants registered after October 23, swag ships the week after the race. (Ship dates may change, shipping based on when swag arrives from our vendor)
