About this race
The Miwok 100K is one of the most beautiful and iconic trail ultramarathons in the world. We believe everyone deserves a shot at something extraordinary. The Miwok100K is about the everyday runner who shows up ready to dig deep on some of the most breathtaking trails around. Set in the Marin Headlands just north of San Francisco, The Miwok 100K offers 62 miles of gorgeous trails, over 11,000 feet of gain, and nonstop views, from redwoods to ridge lines to crashing coastal cliffs.

Miwok 100K Relay - 20 Teams of 4 runners
A fun option to participate in the Miwok 100K by forming a 4-person Relay team who covers the same 100K course! This is a great option for those who don’t want to or can't race the entire distance and are looking for a fun way to participate in all the action. Same course, same day, same time, but in fun size segments of approximately 26, 9.5, 14 and 13 miles. The first leg of the relay begins at the start line, heading south all the way to Bridge View and back to Tennessee Valley for the second time. It’s the longest leg of the relay at 26 miles long. Leg #2 takes off from Tennessee Valley and heads North up Mt. Tam to Cardiac. It’s the shortest leg at only 9.5 miles, but the climbing more than makes up for the lack of distance. Leg #3 takes over at Cardiac and traverses the beautiful Coastal Trail and ends at the Randall aid station for a cool 14 miles. The anchor leg takes it home from Randall back to Stinson Beach and is 13 miles long. All 2025 relay runners will receive a custom Miwok 100K finisher’s medal and a custom Miwok 100k waterproof dry bag.
