About this race
The biggest day of running in Greenville returns on the last Saturday of October and it's called Spinx Run Fest!
Chip Timing. Timing will use RFID chips mounted on the back of the race bibs. The timing company will post live results so you can check your results almost immediately after you finish.
Finisher Shirts. New shirts for 2026!
Packet Pick-Up- Packet pickup, late registration, and the vendor expo will be at the Kroc Center on Friday, October 23rd FROM 12PM TO 6PM.
USATF Certified Courses.
Finisher Medals - NEW for 2026! All Races will have a finisher medal!!!!!!!
Official Age-Group Awards. For each race, awards will include TOP THREE, MALE & FEMALE in the following divisions: Overall, Masters, Grandmasters and Age Groups as follows:
5K: 6-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-over.
10K: 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-over.
Half Marathon: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-over.
Marathon: 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-over.
Please note that awards will likely be different depending upon the specific race.
Races will be capped as follow: 5K - 900; 10K - 700; HM - 1500 and Marathon - 700
Join fellow runners on October 25, 2019 for the Spinx Run Fest. It's a fantastic Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10K, 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Greenville.

Spinx GTC Swamp Rabbit Marathon
The Swamp Rabbit Marathon is an OUT AND BACK race from Greenville's Fluor Field through Furrman University up to Traverlers Rest, going back again for a short loop through Furman before heading back to Fluor Field. The first half of the race runners will take the Swamp Rabbit Trail to Furman University. Approximately 3 miles will be spent touring the Furman campus before runners return to Greenville following some of the same course as the Run Town USA Half Marathon. Then finishing on Fluor Field. Note: Course is subject to change based on requirements of local officials and Furman University.
GTC Run Town USA Half Marathon
The Run Town USA Half Marathon is our most popular event. The course goes through downtown Greenville, historic districts, and city parks. There are fewer neighborhoods and less turns, but we're still encouraging our loyal SPINX RUN FEST FANS to come out and cheer on the runners! The course showcases scenic parts of downtown, City parks and local favorite running routes, making for an exhilarating run. Course is subject to change based on requirements of local officials.
GTC Greenville Downtown 10k
The Greenville Downtown 10K follows the same course as the Run Town USA Half Marathon, except we sliced off 6 of the hardest miles of the HM resulting in a 10K course with fewer turns and hills and surprisingly fast. If you're a 10Ker, this race is the perfect choice! Course is subject to change based on requirements of local officials.
GTC Big Punkin 5k Run/Walk
Dress up and run on the wild side at the GTC Big Punkin 5K! The Big Punkin is a competitive race so feel free to lighten up your costume and go for the win.
